No tabs, no static diagrams — every cycle, voicing, and string set is computed live so you can stay focused on listening and playing.
Move diatonically through a key at any interval — 2nds, 3rds, 4ths and beyond — and hear the whole cycle loop back to where it started.
Pick any 3 or 4 adjacent or split strings right on the fretboard, and every voicing recalculates instantly to fit.
Triads and seventh-chord voicings across every degree order, so the same cycle sounds completely different depending on how you voice it.

The free tier is a real, permanently usable version — not a timed trial.
Free, Annual, and Lifetime are app features available on Google Play and the App Store. This web page is an online demo with limited features. To upgrade, download the free Android or iOS app, then purchase Annual or Lifetime from inside the app. Prices shown are indicative and set in the Play Store / App Store at purchase time.

The web version is an online demo with the same interface but limited to 2 fixed voicings (a triad in C, a seventh-chord drop2 in F) on Cycle 2. The Android and iOS apps unlock all 12 keys, 7 cycles, and seventh-chord voicings via Annual (€12.99/year) or Lifetime (€24.99 once) — download the free app from Google Play or the App Store, then purchase from inside it. Both show the same voice-leading mechanics, so the web demo is a great way to learn before subscribing.
Voice leading is how individual notes move between chords. Smooth voice leading is what makes a progression sound connected instead of like a series of unrelated shapes — Guitar Cycles shows you those movements directly on the fretboard as you play through a cycle.
It's a real, permanent tier: 2 fixed voicings (a C major triad and an F major seventh-chord drop2), always on Cycle 2, capped at 30 steps per session — no time limit otherwise and no account required. It's enough to learn the core mechanics before deciding whether to unlock everything else.
Both unlock the same features: every key and scale, all 7 cycles, seventh-chord voicings, and 4-string sets. Annual renews yearly, billed immediately; Lifetime is a single payment tied to the app itself, with no recurring charge.
The app unlocks everything as soon as your Lifetime purchase completes, and it will remind you to check your subscription. Buying Lifetime does not automatically cancel an active Annual subscription — Google Play treats them as separate purchases — so cancel the subscription's auto-renewal yourself in Google Play (Play Store app > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions) to avoid being charged again.
Yes — the free tier alone is a solid, structured way to learn how chord tones move across a fixed set of strings before adding more keys and voicings.
The installed app works fully offline — everything runs on your device. This web version needs a connection to load, but doesn't need one afterward for the current session.
