Privacy Policy
Guitar Cycles for iOS · Last updated: 3 July 2026
Guitar Cycles is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not operate servers that collect your data, we do not require an account, and the app contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs.
This Privacy Policy explains how the Guitar Cycles iOS app (“the App”) handles information. The App is published by Enrico Dell’Aquila (“the Developer”, “we”, “us”).
1. Information we collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our own servers.
The App stores the following locally on your device only, so it can remember your preferences between sessions:
- Your app settings (key, scale, cycle, voicing, string set, tuning, fretboard and audio options).
- Your unlock status (whether the full version has been unlocked).
This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to the Developer. Deleting the App, or its data, removes it.
2. Purchases
The full version is unlocked through a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple’s In-App Purchase system (StoreKit). The purchase and any payment information are handled entirely by Apple; the App never sees or stores your payment details. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID, which lets you restore it on a new device. Apple’s handling of this data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
3. Network access
The App connects to Apple’s servers solely to process and verify purchases via StoreKit. The App itself makes no other network requests and does not send your usage or personal data anywhere.
4. Third-party services
The only third-party service involved is Apple’s In-App Purchase system (StoreKit) (for purchases and their restoration), as described above. The App does not embed analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking services.
5. Children’s privacy
The App is a general-audience educational music tool. It does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
6. Data retention and deletion
Because all App data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control: deleting the App or its data removes all locally stored settings and unlock status. For purchase records held by Apple, please refer to your Apple ID account and data controls.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, within the App.
